Terms of Use

Milcroft is free to use. By using the app you agree to the terms below. They're written in plain English on purpose — if any of it is unclear, ask us.

What you get

Access to the Milcroft web app at no charge. That includes unlimited tools, unlimited runs, the ⌘K command palette, the curated starter library, the editor, and the share-via- URL mechanic.

Milcroft doesn't call any AI

Milcroft builds your prompts and launches them into the AI site you choose (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity). Those services handle your prompt under their own terms and pricing. We have no relationship with them on your behalf — if you have a free or paid account with them, that's between you and them.

You're responsible for the content of your prompts and for keeping anything sensitive out of the inputs you paste, the same way you would when using those AIs directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Milcroft to:

  • Violate the usage policies of whichever AI provider you launch your prompt into;
  • Generate content that's illegal where you live;
  • Share tool links containing prompts designed to harass, deceive, or harm someone;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service in ways that go beyond ordinary use.

Share links

Anyone who opens a Milcroft share link sees a preview of the tool and chooses whether to add it. We don't moderate share links because we never see them — the tool data lives in the URL fragment, which never reaches our servers. You're responsible for what you share and who you share it with.

No warranty

Milcroft is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We don't promise the service will be available at any specific time, that prompts you build will produce useful output in the AI you launch them into, or that the app will be bug-free. Don't rely on it for anything safety-critical or regulated without your own review.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Milcroft. Total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you've paid us, which is zero.

Termination

You can stop using Milcroft at any time by closing the tab and deleting your local data via Settings → Reset everything. We can suspend access in response to a clear breach of these terms, though we'd almost always reach out first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes we can't resolve by talking will be handled in courts located there.
